When I first heard of 'pole fitness' classes I wasn't very keen on the idea as I had no experience in any other form of fitness, but after some convincing I attended my first class and I have honestly never ever looked back. I was hooked from the word go, and nearly 8 years later here I am with my own pole fitness dance academy and I honestly couldn't be prouder of myself! I hope I can inspire people to join my classes and never want to look back!!

With zero background in gymnastics or dance, and no interest in joining a gym, I tried out my first pole lesson in 2008. Far from feeling silly, I felt supported and encouraged, the pole community is incredible. I’d never stuck at anything before, But I was hooked.

Pole became an obsession and a passion, so in 2012 I decided on a drastic career change.

No matter the starting point, pole is for everyone. Helping students on their journey to become stronger, more confident and expressive through pole is my number one priority.

Personal Statement

I began pole fitness after an extended period of injury, looking to gain back the strength i had lost during that time. What i found was so much more, yes i gained the muscle but also confidence, grace and the support system of a worldwide community. Pole is so much more than a form of exercise, its a way of life and i love nothing more than sharing its joys with all my students, I celebrate every achievement my students make, be it their first spin, first climb or their first solo invert. I firmly believe that each pole journey is the students own and as an instructor its my honour to support and guide that journey.
